The Association
The Consumer Health Benefits Association (CHBA) is a membership association dedicated to a single purpose: to promote and foster a higher quality of life for members and their families. We do so by providing access to high quality health care programs and services, at a substantial savings.
Mission Statement
Consumer Health Benefits Association acts as an advocate for the correction of disparities in health care for those who cannot qualify for, or afford health insurance.
Our Experience
The association's management team and board of directors have over 50 years of combined experience in the realm of health care, finance and insurance. Their background enabled them to structure and develop innovative strategies for health care plans. These plans allow CHBA members to access health care services at the same discounts that large employers and insurance companies have been doing for years.
Our Relationships
As a licensed Discount Medical Plan Organization VAS has contracted with some of the largest and most respected providers of benefits and services in the health care industry. By combining the programs and services offered by VAS, CHBA can offer its members access to the largest network of providers in the United States. CHBA is administered by Century Senior Services.

They're certainly not the biggest company out there, but they're definitely one of the best. You might say they wrote the book. Right now, CSS and its affiliated companies manage over $ 250 Million in assets and over $ 2 Billion of in force life insurance. They also administer over $ 6 Million in Value - Added business. Their parent company was founded in 1936 and is now in its third generation of family presidents, so they will be there when you need them.
We believe that good people make a good administrator and we think their people are the best. They have an experienced, aggressive management group and nearly half their staff members have been with them for five or more years. In fact, over 25% have been there 10 years or longer. Their group of companies have over three hundred employees at our disposal to help you as a "CHBA" member with items related to your plan such as billing, commissions, customer service and paying benefit providers.
